Born in 1973 in Paris, Valérie Dray now lives, loves and works in New York and Paris. “The day I left”, her first installation, was shown during Art Basel Miami, december 07. Valérie Dray work, was shown in publications such as Vogue.com, glamour and menstyle france.
artist’s statement
In her installations of photographs, Valérie Dray is interested the poetic state of the daily life, Her works plays on the ephemeral fragility of things, and melancholy.
Her last work has taken part in the project of laureat of the villa Medicis, Pascal Gautrand about Romans tailors, “when you in Rome, do as roman do” and will be shown in Milan in September.
