June 16 through August 31, gallery nine5's Featured. summer show will be featuring four limited-edition prints from the professional archive of American portrait photographer William Coupon, shot between 1986 and 2001. A full generation of New York City icons is represented in these works; images of Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, shot between 1986 – 1989, inspire a palpable nostalgia for one of downtown's most vibrant creative eras, and the personalities that made it legendary.
