posted on February 26, 2010 by admin

This month is an exciting one for us, as we get to welcome three outstanding new artists to the Prints family.  Each of them bring their own unique style and beauty to the constantly growing catalogue we have here at Prints995. Here's a brief intro of the new artists, we know you are going to love them!

Enid Berger

Born in Brooklyn, New York, before it was fashionable, Ennid Berger is a photographer, painter and writer who is based in New York and Key West, Florida. With a creative soul, Ennid captures the raw energy of the city with a contemporary flair.  Her neo-surrealistic images have a painterly aesthetic enhanced by her preference for the palette of grainy, high-speed black and white film.

Florence Montmare

Florence Montmare was born in Vienna, grew up in Stockholm and ventured to New York in 1996. She studied Photography and Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts, New York. Florence has stated that intimacy and disconnection are some of the themes that drive her work. She has said, "Psychological ambiguities become apparent when memory meets imagination and love and intimacy encounters longing and disconnection."

Michelle Dean Kiminer

Michelle Dean Kaminer was born of Russian descent in New York City and grew up in North Jersey. She received her bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and Theater from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in 2001. She strives to convey the feelings of every day life, as her images capture wonderful, brief moments in time.
