Archival Inkjet Prints
All prints995 photographs come to you as archival inkjet prints, also known as giclee printing. The process refers to fine art prints made from a digital source, using ink-jet printing. Archival paper and ink are high quality and fade resistant. Although the printing is digital, this does not mean the images available on prints995 were originally captured with a digital camera.
What is so special about limited editions?
One of the special things about prints995 is that all of our prints are limited editions and come in several formats. Therefore, when a print sells out, there will be no more available in that specific format. To stay ahead of the crowd, join our mailing list to receive updates on upcoming editions.
What will my prints995 photograph look like?
Each dimension quoted on the site is the gross size of the print (including the margins). We recommend that you wait to receive your print before ordering your frame. Prints are on matte paper, and will not appear glossy unless framed.
How do I protect my print?
Art is fragile and unique. Once purchased, care for artworks is the full responsibility of the buyer. Don’t handle your prints with dirty fingers and keep prints flat and protected before framing. It is recommended to use clean cotton gloves for handling. While on display, keep art away from direct sunlight, and make sure to use proper framing.
If storing a print, keep it in a controlled environment. 75 degrees Fahrenheit and 50% relative humidity are ideal. Try to keep prints in an acid free storage box or print sleeve/bag (biaxally oriented polypropylene is recommended by the experts) for storing.
